Lincoln, NE - The Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development, EmployLNK, LincolnHR, Lincoln Parks & Recreation and American Job Center of Lancaster and Saunders Counties are excited to partner for the upcoming OpportunityLNK Community & Career Expo this Thursday, May 9. The event will be held at the F Street Community Center, located at 1225 F Street, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
This is a traditional career and resource fair for job seekers and their families, providing access to career opportunities and supportive services. Over 40 Lincoln area employers in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, government, early childhood education, IT, seasonal jobs and more are hiring and will have direct hiring opportunities for job seekers.
“It is incredibly exciting to welcome job seekers from around the area who are looking for additional career opportunities,” says Allison Hatch, Director of Workforce Development for the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development.
“As we continue to connect people to full-time careers and steady employment options, a wide range of area employers are ready to employ these job seekers with careers at all skill levels that offer great benefits,” Hatch concludes.
Career coaching will also be available this year for job seekers during the event, provided by the American Job Center of Lancaster and Saunders Counties.
